It’s true, fit is everything. Plus when it fits great you feel great. So let’s chat about the top tips to finding that perfect fit!
Ask for help! - This can seam really straight forward and almost obvious but the truth is so often people don’t ask the store staff for help. The staff at your favorite boutique are a huge resource. They know what fits large or runs small. They know if there are matching pieces and if your favorite piece comes in other colors. Ask the staff, and tell them you are doing a session! They may even be able to point you in the direction of something you never knew you needed.
Measure - Don’t be intimidated by the tape measure, knowledge is power. At any given time 80% off women are wearing the wrong size bra so do the steps and check in. If you are in a store let the sales people measure you, if your home do it yourself or ask your partner. Also if you are shopping online measurements are a must!
Add some color! - Yes I love black! But I also want to see some color. Color can change the mood of a piece and of an image. You don’t want an album full of images where you are only wearing black! Be bold with your color choices or stay with more neutral shades but definitely chose something that is not black.
Step out of your zone - I get it, we all have things we are familiar with but this is one of those times where you should push it a little. Definitely chose a piece in the comfort zone. Then try some new things! Try two pieces, mix and match, add stockings, try different fabrics and fits! You’re already in the store and committed to the experience so give it a go.
